A fully consolidated 911 center consisting of 29 full-time telecommunicator positions, several part-time and 6 administrative staff, inclusive of the Director. Around 220,000 calls annually, with 85,000 are incoming 911 and emergency calls.

Radio System

Maintains a countywide radio system that serves all law enforcement, fire, and ambulance personnel operating in Morgan County.
System is a 700MHz P25 Phase 1 trunked radio system. Motorola and Kenwood P25 radios are compatible with the system.

In 2024, the Morgan County 911 Board selected Decatur Morgan EMS as the county ambulance provider. This allowed for one ambulance service to manage response to all of Morgan County. Non-emergency 256-973-2451
