Morgan County 911 EMCD WEB FB

  • Answers all 911 calls and dispatches all public safety agencies in Morgan County, AL
  • A fully consolidated 911 center consisting of 29 full-time telecommunicator positions, several part-time and 6 administrative staff, inclusive of the Director. Around 220,000 calls annually, with 85,000 are incoming 911 and emergency calls.

Radio System

  • Maintains a countywide radio system that serves all law enforcement, fire, and ambulance personnel operating in Morgan County.
  • System is a 700MHz P25 Phase 1 trunked radio system. Motorola and Kenwood P25 radios are compatible with the system.
